I have mentioned a few times possibly starting a IT Security consulting and web development venture. Here lately, while working a full-time job, going to college full-time, taking care of my son, training MMA, and studying for the MYSQL-DEV exams, I don’t have time to put this together.
However in down time I have gone over ideas, talked to some people, and have some pretty neat things planned for this. I have a lot of great ideas for the site, including frequent blogs on security for both business owners and individuals wanting to become more secure. Video demonstrations of how attacks work.
The site, when done, will be extremely secure, powered by the Zend Framework, and 100% hand coded by myself. So you can see, this will not be a simple wordpress install such as this blog, it will take a very great deal of time to develop.
I will more than likely start on the site whenever college is out, and should take roughly 2 months to develop.
I am shooting for July to have everything done and start working on company based projects with my team, which I still need. I already know the first project, and it is going to be pretty great. This company may not have a lot, if any, business, but it will allow me to gain more reputation, while working towards the required career time in a security related position for some certifications.
So in the following months, look for some more write-ups about this, maybe even some demos of the site or the code behind it as its going up.

We have a social networking site, which requires a membership fee, our programmer is out of South Africa,, he pretty much has built and runs the site himself over the years from the start, i would like to do a security check on the site and programming, just to make sure everything is in order and not leaking out,,”money” for example.. is this something you would be interested in doing, if you have time..
thanks randy
